Here is your midweek special: hamloaf, cornbread and greens in a fish sauce vinaigrette. A bit of the old country and a touch of south east Asia makes this dish a melting pot of American dreams – Happy 4th of July.

Looking forward to a visit from my nieces and nephews next year. What should Uncle G cook them?
Experiment N˚1: Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Quesadillas. An awful looking mess, but still a tasty success. This one’s for you kids.
