Baked in NYC

Pie, pure and simple- three fine renditions of supreme pie satisfaction.
1.Black bottom oatmeal pie- A chewy granola bar slice, made for the man that needs a mouthful.
2.Salted Apple lattice pie- Powered salt for instant gratification, then came the apple tang.
Oh, you beautiful bastard.
3.Pumpkin Pie with brown butter base- Richer/Deeper, than the o.g. and just what it needs to bring the classic punkin’ pie taste forward.

All this baking hit magic relevance with the discovery of the flaky but still chewy crust.
Many pies fall by the wayside when it comes to this understated but highly relevant pie pointer… Nyc does pies right and they are everywhere…. it must be pie season, so go nab yourself one.
