:Holiday Interlude:

Your on holiday, checking out all the sights and sounds, savouring the native flavours.
Never knowing what’s round the next corner, it’s part of the adventure. The last thing you  expect to find is a chili emporium. On the off chance they had some chipotles, I headed in.

Inside, I found chili gold. Something I could not find in London, something I had been wanting for a long time………… a jar of New Mexican Green Chiles.

The mind hits the kitchen, premeditated menu planning. A few minutes later and I had figured out what to make – Beef tacos.

This felt like a throwback to the old taco days, of hard shells and ground beef. I just souped everything up a little bit. Homemade and fried corn tortillas, green salsa: with garlic, cumin, oregano and onions; ground beef; coriander; avocado; Keen’s cheddar and vinegar dipped shredded lettuce.

It hit the spot,
Now back to the trip.. “G.N”
